We Are The Worst

Live at Leonard's Playhouse in Marietta GA, on October 2, 2004, at the intersection of friends and alcohol, a musical performance was held that was unlike anything heard before. Part of the reason for the party was to have everyone sing one of Diane's favorite songs - "We Are The World." So we downloaded a terrible karaoke version into our terrible karaoke mic from Wal-Mart, grabbed the video from a Japanese web site, printed the lyrics for everyone, and we were ready for the party.

David was the musical director - set up the equipment (one mic), assigned the parts, supervised our only run-through, recorded it and had it ready for everyone to hear 20 minutes after we did it. Despite the prior drinking, let me assure you, it was a sobering experience! Seriously, it was a lot of fun. I guess you had to be there!
