Karen Braysher
Karen and I have been working remotely since 2020 - with her in the UK and me in the US. Her music has been garnering awards at film festivals throughout the world. Homecoming Ball was chosen as best music video in the Multi Dimension independent Film Festival. The One Earth Awards in India gave Material Things the silver award as Best American Roots song and Seeds of Change was Best Children's song. Click the picture for her video of The Hitchhiker.
Novella Springette
Novella has a Christian outreach ministry in Indiana. She and her singers traveled here to record seven inspirational songs with me. From L-R: Novella, Dean, Dynlene, and Juanita.
Alvis Searcy
Alvis continues to make everybody wanna dance with his latest music - Circles, and Por Favor Danca do Mundo. We're both getting used to the idea of facial hair.
Northside (Ghost)
Rapper North continues crafting a string of new songs and videos such as The Livest One, God Got Me, Black Is Still Beautiful, and Dear White Devil.
Richard Gunn
Richard (rear, center) has a mission to bring the gospel song Amazing Grace to as many languages as he possibly can. We are working with the U.S. version right now. Alexis La Salle (2nd from left) brought in singers from her community choir to augment the virtual choir we created. Elvis tribute artist Doug Church carries the lead vocal for most of the track.
Esther Gail
Esther and sister Lisa came in to record a song written by their mother, songwriter/artist Betty Logan. She is best known for Hello Darling, her answer song to Willie Nelson's Hello Walls. There is a lot of talent running in that family.
Michael Dean Tippens
Michael continues to work on his next album release. He has just put out American Ego and is putting the finishing touches on CD number four. All of the material is cowritten with guitarist Russell Woods.
Dustin Cottrell
Dustin is a busy guy. In addition to his tribute band, These Crowded Streets (featuring the music of Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds), The Cottrells (acoustic duo), and keyboardist for Yacht Rock Schooner, he is providing custom music for a puppet show, which he recorded here. Monica Mason
I brought Monica in the studio to sing the vocals on Lay Your Burden Down - a song I wrote with Derek Toomey. She, in turn, brought in three singing friends to help out with the choir parts on the song. From L-R are Matthew, Alonso, Zipporah, and Monica.
