Michael Dean Tippens

WEB Michael Tippens

Michael has been working on his second, third  and fourth albums of original material cowritten with Russell Woods - "American Idle,'" "The Other L Word," and "Finally, Out Of The Frying Pan.". Look for his new release shortly!  Meanwhile, click here for a link to his EP , Halloween Undying. And yes, there are no strings on his guitar. It only slows him down.

Moondog

Moondog

Joey and the band recorded two new songs with me. From L-R: Tim Geary (guitar), Joey Mayes (guitar), Michael Thornton (bass), Alexis La Salle (keys) and David Knaub (percussion). The style is kinda rootsy, kinda folksy.  Click here to listen to "When The Blue Moon Rises."

Chandler Walters

WEB Chandler Walters

Chandler is a multi-talented guy. He writes, sings, plays guitar, bass, keys, drums, and pedal steel guitar. His first song with me was "That Kind Of Girl" - a country pop radio ready song. Next, he did "White Horse" - a song purposely written to support equine therapy programs for veterans.

Marty Nickel

Marty has been working remotely with me from his home on the Georgia coast. We have completed two new songs. Click here for his latest - "Island Girl."

Madoca

Madoca is a fiery keyboardist whom I met while working with another artist, Tommy Gordon.  She was in the studio with her producer, Prince, to mix her latest jazz release, "I Feel You." Click the picture to follow the link to the video!

The album release party is currently scheduled for March 12, 2022 at the Velvet Note. Now that's something to look forward to!

Colin Alvarez

Colin and I have been working remotely through 2020 and the first part of 2021 on his latest album, "Long Time Coming." The tracks were recorded in his home here in Atlanta, and then he relocated to Pennsylvania, and then.. COVID. So it really WAS a long time coming! Great blues, y'all. Click the picture to have a listen.

Cole Mackey

Cole recorded two more songs with me - "Tell Me Now" and "A Life Without You." If you're a fan of those big powerful ballads, you'll be a fn of his.

Robert Charles

WEB Robert Charles _ DL

This latest song of Robert's was very special  and personal. Through the website  23 And Me he discovered siblings and relatives from his birth family. He was discussing this in a chat with his son-in-law, Rob Mathis, and a few hours later Rob sent him the basics for the song. "Wish I Knew You Then" is a beautiful reflection of not just lost time but gratitude for a newfound future.

Tony Marchetti

The latest releases from Tony have been in a more pop direction. If you click the picture, you will see the video for "You." His next release is appropriately named "Release."

Northside Slam

Rapper North continues crafting a string of new songs and videos such as "Peace Love Unity," "Feel My Pain," "Story To Tell" and his latest, "Flex."

Callie Eskew

WEB Mark Eskew _Callie

Mark Eskew has been a friend and musical client of mine since my Conyers days. His daughter, Callie, had written a cool song called "Aphrodite" and he encouraged her to record it with me. Talent just seems to run in the family.

Preston Camp, Jr.

Music can serve as a connecting point to people we otherwise would never meet. That's the case with Preston and Cindy Smith Harr who discovered each other on Facebook and have turned their lives literally into songs. Be sure to check out Preston's newest release, "Nashville To Palm Beach" which should be out some time in October 2021.

JJ Jackson

J.J. found himself with a little COVID relief money to put back into the economy so he booked studio time to resing vocals to many of the songs in his catalog. He also created two music videos right here on my cul-de-sac! Click the picture for his YouTube channel where you can see "It's Time," his tribute to the Tennessee Volunteers, and his latest video "Righteous Road."

Averie Bielski

Averie is a terrific young writer who happens to know another terrific young talented producer, Chandler Walters. Together with me, we put together Averie's first single - "I Do Too." When I heard the title I thought, "Great wedding song." Well, no. The song is really about how she now shares in the experience of heartbreak with other fellow songwriters.

Derek Toomey, Faith Harris

After the pandemic lockdown, Derek asked if I would like to collaborate with him on a few song ideas for film and television. Our first product was a "Rat Pack" kind of swingin' horn band tune, "Lucky Me."

The next one was a Nina Simone type song called "Lost As I Was." We found an awesome local artist, Faith Harris, and asked her to be the vocalist. Click the picture to hear the music on YouTube.

Simply Wayne

Simply Wayne was the vocal contributor to another song that I wrote with Derek Toomey - "Let's Do It." Get your mind out of the gutter! This is a song about doing right by each other - a message much needed these days. Hear Wayne's soulful voice by clicking the picture.

Matt Johnson

Derek and I got together on yet another one - a kind of rock/rap production called "Good To Be Me." We were scratching our heads over who could perform the rap section and come to discover that Derek's WSB buddy Matt Johnson (a.k.a. Mattafact) is also a rapper! Click the picture for the video with awesome vocalist Eric Heil.

Wil Lim

WEB Wil Lim_DL

It's always a pleasure to have Wil in the studio. We recorded a new arrangement of an earlier song of his called, "For You."

Russ Still & The Moonshiners

Talk about fun. Russ began this project last year, but with COVID happening, it turned into an online collaboration. For this album, Russ adopted a raspier vocal tone and we featured his piano playing prominently. Drummer Mitch Flanders recorded in-studio and Russ' final vocals were also done here.

The styles of music range from all-out rock to swamp country and the songs have been getting great reviews from respected indie music critics. Click the picture to hear the full album!

Valerie Waters

WEB Valerie Waters and Gang

Valerie brought the crew in to record a few new songs for her next album. From L-R: Jeff Donnenworth (drums), Neil Mison (bass), Valerie (keys, vocals), Jan Smith (support), and Nick Moroch (guitar).
